Types of animals rescued:
American cocker spaniels

Philosophy:
We take all cockers with/without health problems. We will not accept know biters. Treating for heartworms is no problem. If we have space in foster care, we will also accept mixes.

History:
Begun in 1991 by several local show cocker folks

What is your future?
We will continue to foster, provide vet care and place cockers in Georgia and Alabama

What are your needs and volunteer opportunities?
We desperately need additional foster homes. We are always at capacity. Don’t know how much we could volunteer with other groups as everyone works and we are all over committed at present.

Would you be willing to work with other rescue organizations in order to meet the needs of more animals?
If we had room

In the event of another disaster such as Katrina, would your organization be willing to:

Send volunteers to a remote rescue site?
Don’t think we could

Transport animals?
If we can

From a central rescue site take more animals and supplies on a permanent or temporary basis at you home location?
Yes

Pictured is Wyatt and he is available for adoption! I sure like that snazzy jacket he is wearing! Visit their website for more info about him.

Cocker Spanial Rescue of Georgia is in need of donations for their special needs dogs!! If you are able to help, log on to their website for information and how to donate.
Every day, more than 9,000 dogs and cats are killed in America's shelters simply because they don't have a safe place to call home.

Together, we will end the killing.
Together we will Save Them All.
