Valiant volunteers are trying to help this rural shelter go no-kill, and they're succeeding! They need your help Now to save 6 beautiful dogs.
Six beautiful dogs have almost run out of time at the Columbiana County Dog Pound. Sponsors have already come forward to pay for their spay/neuter, medical, and adoption fees. All that's needed is an approved non-profit rescue to speak up for them. The Pound charges a nominal pull fee to rescue organizations (organizations either licensed in Ohio or who have 501(c)(3) status).
AND -- Transportation can be arranged to get the dog to you!! Who can pass up a request like that?!
The Columbiana County Dog Pound is a small, rural animal control facility located in Lisbon, Ohio. It is a kill shelter that still uses a gas chamber, but some Very dedicated volunteers there are working valiantly with rescue groups in Delaware, PA and NJ to save animals from being killed. The volunteers have done wonders!
If you can help one or more of these sweet dogs, please contact the Pound at 330-424-6663 or email them at: firstname.lastname@example.org. If you call the pound and no one answers the phone, please leave them a message because the staff will normally check phone messages and email before proceeding.
If you have any questions right now, please email Gabe Eber, a dedicated pound volunteer, who has made it his goal to save the lives of the animals at this shelter. He will help coordinate transport to you.
Please email Gabe now at: email@example.com
