Pet Food for Homeless Animals

Cedar City Pet Sitting and Boarding hosts Spring Pet Food Drive for Iron County, Utah, shelters and rescues through May 23

After a resounding success collecting over 1,200 pounds of pet food for local animal shelters and rescues in December 2010, the kind-hearted folks at Cedar City Pet Sitting and Boarding are once again making an effort for homeless pets.

They are hosting a Spring Pet Food Drive through Monday, May 23 for the following three organizations.

"As you know, these shelters exist on volunteers and donations and need our help," says Diane Gil of Cedar City Pet Sitting and Boarding.

Both cat and dog food are needed, however small bite and canned food are in particular need. Donations can be brought to the following locations:

  • C-A-L Ranch, 750 South Main Street, Cedar City
  • IFA, 905 South Main Street, Cedar City
  • Urban Dawgs Bakery and Self-Groom, 1420 So. Providence Center Drive, Ste 5 (in front of Walmart), Cedar City

"If you can, please open your heart and help the homeless animals of Iron County," Diane requests.
