The 14th Annual LA Benefit Raises The Woof!

It was a beautiful evening at the old Charlie Chaplin Studio on the Jim Henson Company Lot in Hollywood last Saturday night as crowds of animal lovers sprinkled with celebrities and entertainment industry insiders celebrated with Best Friends.

Highlights of the evening included a gospel set by Sylvia St. James and the Voices of Fulfillment Choir. Sylvia is Mistress of Ceremonies for House of Blues and knows how to get people out of their seat which is exactly what happend!

That was a great lead-up to the awards presenations and live auction hosted by Todd Newton. Grants went to Downtown Dog Rescue, Last Chance For Animals and Korean Animal Protection Society.

Really, really great vegan cuisine and an open bar helped keep everyone smiling.

The party seems to get bigger and better every year. One veteran of numerous benefit galas said, "This is the best charity event I've ever been to!"
