Wade Peatross, director, IT infrastructure, security and operations

Wade Peatross is Director, IT Infrastructure, Security and Operations at Best Friends. Wade is responsible for providing a secure, robust and scalable technology infrastructure to support the Best Friends business strategies and operations.

Wade joined Best Friends Animal Society in 2003, working to design and expand the Best Friends computer network, data and telecommunications systems, and expansion of the fiber optic infrastructure across the Sanctuary. Prior to joining Best Friends, Wade worked in various technology positions including web hosting, network management and telecommunications. He enjoys the quick paced, constantly changing aspect of technology and the new challenges it provides.

Wade received his Bachelor in Computer Science degree with emphasis on networking and data communications from Utah Valley University.

Wade lives in Kanab, Utah, with his wife Janette, their three children and two cats.

Wade has been a longtime volunteer in his community through many years coaching youth sports. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and adventures with his family.
