According to recent buzz, a stunning, star-studded Yowlywood red carpet event will take place tomorrow, and it's rumored that all the A-List celebkitties will be in attendance. Big-name icons like Gwyneth Pawltrow, George Clawney, Bengal Affleck and Jennifur Garner not only will be on hand for photo ops and pawtographs, but feline fans can even adopt them and take them home.

This spectacular affair is Best Friends Animal Society's star-studded ACATemy Awards adoption event, tomorrow, Saturday, inside the Hotel Palomar, 10740 Wilshire Blvd. at Selby Ave., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. This luminous and large-scale event stars more than 200 alluring, adoptable cats from Los Angeles County shelters and Los Angeles Animal Services.

With a slight nod to the upcoming Academy Awards, the event spotlights the fabulous felines from local shelters who so-far have been snubbed by adopters. Get ready for glitz, glamour and giveaways, as well as a rain-proof "cat walk" and red carpet, and covered valet parking in front of the hotel.

Adding to the appeal to the feline fanfare will be a handful of enchanting human celebrities lending their support to the occasion as well. "True Blood's" Kristin Bauer, Emmy Rossum from "Shameless" and "Monk's" Jason Gray-Stanford will all be on hand as hundreds of potential pet parents seek out their own Best Supporting Feline.

At least two of the stars of the hilarious "It's Okay to Be a Cat Guy" short films will be attending the event. Marc Robertson, the boxer, and Christopher Coppola, the biker, along with cat, Biker Cat-in matching Fedoras-will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos with adoring fans.

Much Love Animal Rescue, the creator of the "It's Okay to Be a Cat Guy" campaign, is partnering with Best Friends Animal Society L.A. to spread the word about the ACATemy Awards and was generous enough to loan out their cat guys.

The Cat Guy videos and more information about the ACATemy Awards can be found on the Best Friends L.A. events page at //la.bestfriends.org/events.

Of course the captivating cats are the true stars of Best Friends' ACATemy Awards. And the winners will be… (envelope please)… every fantastic feline that finds a new furrever family.
