Male Domestic Short Hair (short coat) named Zoot available for adoption

Zoot is fearful of new people, but once he gets to know you, he's a completely different cat. He'll lean in to be petted and be very affectionate in return. He's friendly with a lot of cats, but will hide from any that show aggression toward him. He was born in 2007 and came from California after his person passed away. He is missing his right eye. We are told he was a total lap cat with his late person. His life was turned upside down when he lost his person. He needs someone who understands that he's learning to trust again, and can give him lots of love and patience.
