Erin Miner

National Marketing Specialist

Erin Miner
Erin Miner grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University in 2011 with a degree in communication and film. After college, she spent six months in Alaska doing environmental conservation work, then made her way to Maine, where she started working in animal welfare.

Erin became the marketing/communications coordinator at Franklin County Animal Shelter, a small shelter in central Maine. As in most small nonprofit jobs, she wore many hats. Her job duties included everything from photography to event planning and website design. She signed the shelter up to be a Best Friends No More Homeless Pets Network partner, which ultimately led her to her current job as national marketing specialist with Best Friends.

In her travels across the country, her dog, Willow, has been her one constant. Since settling in Kanab, Utah, she has adopted a second girl, Fred, and the two of them together confirm for Erin every day that she is in the right line of work.
