Pet moms are the best
Need a cure for the Monday blues? Our photo feature is here to help provide a brief diversion from your workday routine with a small dose of squee, wow and awwww. Enjoy!
With so many Mother’s Day images in the Best Friends photo library, we just had to share some more images of mothers’ love. Since this time of year brings plenty of animal moms and babies to the Sanctuary, there were plenty to choose from and it’s hard to get much cuter than mama dogs and their puppies. And best of all, the dog mothers are available for adoption — just as soon as they're spayed and their pups come of age.
I swear: I can fit your whole head in my mouth.
I only have eyes for you.
Myth is a wonderful Mom and she is going to stay with her babies until they are weaned. Once she is spayed and recovers, she'll be ready for some babying of her own. Please watch our adoptions website to see when she becomes available.
Can you keep a secret?
Calgon, take me away!
Momma Penelope is still raising her babies, but she'll be ready for a home of her own shortly after they are weaned and she is spayed. Please watch our adoptions website to see when she becomes available.
Sleep? Yes, I have a vague recollection of what that was like.
They do outgrow this stage, right?
Let me tell you a little about motherhood …
After months of nurturing her litter of pups, it’s Panama’s time to be pampered, and life in a loving home would provide just what she needs. Interested in caring for her, just like she did her babies? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
What do you mean we ran out of cookies? Nooooo!
Mom always slept with one eye open, so I do too.
If you just gave me a Kong, I wouldn’t have to chew your shoe.
Blech — but I don’t wanna eat my vegetables.
Please, no paparazzi.
