Paul Altherr

Paul Altherr is our chief financial, business and people officer. He is responsible for leading our strategic planning process and the areas of business planning, business process improvement, financial management, and organizational and people development.

Prior to Best Friends, Paul served in general management, strategy, operations, finance, marketing and human resources roles. His career chapters have included Ernst & Young, The Coca-Cola Company, the Art Gallery of Ontario (the eighth largest art museum in North America), and as founder of his own consulting and services firm.

Paul and his wife, Peggy, and their two daughters, Tracy and Amy, have been long-time adopters of cats and dogs.

Paul enjoys fitness, the outdoors, travel, learning about social enterprise, and taking deep breaths.
