Ellie

Breed: Pekin
Primary Breed: Pekin
Age: Adult
Color: White
Sex: Female

Ellie is an older female Pekin Duck full of personality. She was brought to us by someone who rescued her after she was dumped on a pond and was observed having difficulty walking. Ellie is currently getting treated for her arthritis. She will need a special home with accommodations made for her mobility issues. And she doesn't want to travel far in the car, as it bothers her joints, so she is also looking for a home close by.
She would be happiest with animal friends, whether it be other ducks, chickens, or even a friendly dog or cat, but really wants to hang out with other ducks. She cannot fly and will need protection from predators and weather extremes. No sanctuary visit is necessary, however, you must be within close driving distance of Kanab to adopt. If you are interested in Ellie, please fill out an application for her!
