Roman
Roman is a cool little guy who has an interesting history. He is a red dun mustang but was born in a private facility in South Dakota, so he doesn't carry the traditional mustang freeze brand on his neck. He has had a lot of years of practice being fearful of any kind of handling but is slowly learning that people can be trusted. There is definitely a kind, sensible horse behind all that fear, and we are enjoying getting to know him and watching him begin to blossom. He will need a lot more time and handling before the decision is made as to whether he can be a riding horse. In the meantime, he has great horse skills and is an awesome pasture buddy to his friends. We hope to find him a great forever home, in the meantime, he has a safe place here to learn and grow in confidence.
