We have great news! The Illinois state legislature is considering lifesaving, bipartisan legislation that would prevent pet stores from selling puppies and kittens sourced from inhumane breeding mills.

If enacted, House Bill 1711 will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and reduce killing in Illinois shelters by shrinking the retail market for milled pets.

We need Illinois residents to call Senator Harmon - President of the IL Senate - to respectfully request that he assign House Bill 1711 to a committee.
