Stop puppy and kitten mill sales in Dallas

Success!

UPDATE (MAY 11, 2022): Thanks to your calls and emails, the Dallas City Council has unanimously voted to enact a humane pet sales ordinance (to prevent pet stores from selling puppies and kittens sourced from inhumane breeding mills).

Urge the City Council to enact a humane pet sales ordinance.

If enacted, the proposed ordinance will help put an end to the suffering of countless animals in substandard breeding facilities and reduce killing in Dallas shelters.

And by shrinking the retail market for mill-bred pets, there will be more opportunities for homeless dogs and cats to get adopted.

Houston, San Antonio, and Austin are among the more than 420 cities and counties that have already enacted similar humane pet sales ordinances. Help Dallas do the same!
