Ask Governor DeSantis to veto Florida Senate Bill 620.

At least 75 cities and counties throughout Florida have enacted ordinances to prevent inhumane, out-of-state puppy and kitten mills from selling animals through our local pet stores.

These sensible laws protect pets, consumers and taxpayers. Unfortunately, new legislation headed to the governor could challenge this progress.

Senate Bill 620 will set a dangerous precedent by allowing pet dealers to retaliate against communities that enact humane pet sales ordinances.
