In 2021, thanks to your calls and emails, the Illinois state legislature enacted lifesaving, bipartisan legislation to prevent pet stores from selling puppies and kittens sourced from inhumane breeding mills.
Now, the puppy mill industry is trying to repeal all of that great progress for pets and people with legislation that would allow pet stores to continue selling dogs and cats from puppy and kitten mills. This would be a huge step backward for Illinois.
