House Bill 4035 encourages local governments to enhance public safety for both people and pets by keeping dog laws focused on behavior, rather than appearance. Time is running short. Your Senator needs to know that you support this bill before the legislative session ends.

The bill has passed through two committees and the House floor vote with strong, bipartisan support. It has been unanimously approved by the Senate Local Government Committee, but we still need the full Senate to call the bill for a vote before it can be sent for final approval with the Governor.
