Last year, hundreds of thousands of loving dogs and cats were killed in shelters like the ones here in Waynesboro, just because they didn’t have a safe place to call home.

But you can change that. Best Friends is leading the no-kill movement by running lifesaving adoption and spay/neuter programs for dogs and cats, providing support and training for animal shelters and rescue groups, and mobilizing community members on behalf of pets in need across the country.

And you can be part of that work, right here in Waynesboro. You can adopt, foster, volunteer and advocate. We can help you [spay and neuter your pets], or [get food from our community pet food pantry]. Working together, we'll make Pennsylvania and the entire country no-kill by 2025.
