Lee Greenwood is a legislative attorney for Best Friends Animal Society. Lee has been involved in the legislative process for his entire career, starting out in Washington, D.C., working for the Senate judiciary and budget committees. After that, he worked for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy in Alexandria, Virginia, as an attorney, helping to enact the organization’s priorities on the state and federal levels. Most recently, he worked as a lawyer for a state representative at the State House in Boston, Massachusetts.
His experience in a variety of different government settings has helped him at Best Friends, where he specializes in dog-related laws, working as an advocate and lobbyist on local, state and federal legislation. In addition to his work for Best Friends, Lee volunteers with various animal adoption organizations in Boston and Washington, D.C.
