Tanya Roberts, a certified professional dog trainer, manages the training and behavior department at the Oregon Humane Society in Portland, Oregon. She has been working at OHS for 17 years. Tanya and her team teach volunteers safety and handling, body language, and basic training up to behavior modification. She also runs many volunteer programs. Prior to working at OHS, she volunteered for the Marin Humane Society’s training and behavior department in Marin County, California. Tanya’s family consists of a cat, a dog, a horse and a husband.
