Best Friends Animal Society

Donna Done is the director of insurance and safety for Best Friends Animal Society and is on the board of directors for Aspire Casualty, Ltd.  She has more than 15 years of experience as a safety professional and is an award-winning speaker and presenter. Her goal-oriented and results-focused philosophy provides the foundation for taking the ordinary and turning it into extraordinary.

Born in California, she spent her early years growing up in Lusaka, Zambia, and Legos, Nigeria. Her experiences there would prove to be invaluable. Her family home in the U.S. was Logan, Utah, where she graduated from high school. She later attended the University of Montana in Missoula where she maintained a 4.0 GPA and was on both the dean’s list and the president’s list. Her studies focused on English and psychology, and she was accepted into the teaching program. While at the university, she worked in the student law office where she gained valuable knowledge regarding legal proceedings.

Working for Best Friends Animal Society has provided her with the amazing opportunity to use her knowledge and experience to support the lifesaving mission of Best Friends. And what could be better than doing what you know best to support something that is near and dear to your heart?

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Charly, and riding her sparkly purple motorcycle. (Charly does not ride on the motorcycle, though.)
