Manager, Social Communities and Content
Elizabeth Bennett joined Best Friends in March 2018 as manager of social media communities and content. Prior to that, she served as director of communications for Stanford Universitys Center for Ethics in Society, where she oversaw social media, email and live event marketing. In 2016, she founded Prose for Paws, a nonprofit that provides pro bono grantwriting services to animal welfare organizations in California. Most recently, she transitioned to the Best Friends Network team, where she is working to further strengthen the digital infrastructure that supports the organizations thousands of shelter and rescue group partners across the country. Elizabeth is the proud partner of a police officer, and the mom of a twoyearold little man cub, an enormous hound, and a stumpy pit bull terrier. They all live near the beach in Orange County, California.
