Jill Mollohan joined the Lynchburg Humane Society in 2010. She is currently the associate director for the organization, which operates centers in the city of Lynchburg and Appomattox County. She began her involvement in animal welfare in 2004 as a volunteer for a shelter in West Virginia. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in animal and poultry sciences. Jill has worked in every facet of animal welfare, from kennel attendant to executive director. Her passions are mentoring staff to be the best they can be to continue maximizing lifesaving and integrating technology into the shelter environment to improve efficiencies. Before entering the animal welfare field, Jill was a business director for a technology company and a finance and administration director at a nonprofit in Charleston, West Virginia. Jill currently resides in Lynchburg with her two dogs, Piper and Percy, and her two cats, Lady Katherine and Sir Winston.
