Manager, Campaign Proposals and Resources
Kelly Cramer is an animal lover and writer, in that order. As the manager of campaign proposals and resources at Best Friends Animal Society, she has found a way to blend her passions. Kelly helps ensure that Best Friends meets its revenue goals for achieving nokill nationwide by 2025 through the Campaign to Save Them All by writing proposals and case statements for all development teams and by serving as the organizational lead on campaign strategies, processes, tools and materials. Previously, Kelly served as the manager of foundation partnerships at Best Friends, a role in which she developed and implemented grantseeking strategy and managed partnerships with highcapacity private and corporate foundations. She has also worked as a grant writer for Special Olympics Kentucky and as a major gifts officer at a Benedictine monastery. She holds degrees in education and nonprofit management from Indiana UniversityBloomington. Kelly lives near Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband and three dogs, and has been an advocate for animals since she adopted her first dog from a nokill rescue group when she was in college Kelly, not the dog.
