Nicole is the shelter coordinator at Wenatchee Valley Humane Society (WVHS) in Wenatchee, Washington. She began her animal welfare career in Stanwood, Washington, as a volunteer at the Northwest Organization for Animal Help (NOAH). At WVHS, she worked her way from animal care technician to cat lead and now to shelter coordinator where she oversees daily operations and care of all 5,000 animals that each year come into WVHS. Nicole is responsible for creating WHVS’ extensive cat enrichment program, as well as the expansion of its ringworm program. When Nicole is not at the shelter, she is usually with her daughter enjoying all the great outdoor activities that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
