Rachel Williams grew up in Detroit, Michigan, where her passion for animals and public service began. She started her career as a veterinary technician in the early 2000s and has since taken on increasingly challenging roles. Rachel has received recognition from the University of the Pacific (Certified Animal Shelter Manager, 2019) and Southern Utah University (Best Friends Executive Leadership Certification, 2021) and she is a Fear Free Certified Professional (2020). Rachel is a contributor and active member of Human Animal Support Services (2020). She is passionate about pets and their people, public safety, and pioneering innovative lifesaving practices and strategies. Rachel enjoys spending her free time with family and being a foster mum.
