Shyanne Schull, director for Washoe County Regional Animal Services in Reno, Nevada, uses her own proactive philosophy and approach on animal welfare issues to help drive successful programs that support the bond between pets and people. In her 23-year career in animal welfare, Shyanne has worked in a wide array of capacities: kennel worker, dispatcher, officer, shelter manager, assistant director and director.
