Field Services Director
Timothy Poorman is currently the field services director at Fulton County Animal Services and LifeLine Animal Project. Before taking that position, he was a senior cruelty investigator at the Humane Society of Missouri, where his responsibilities included investigating animal neglect and cruelty, as well as educating the public in the St. Louis metropolitan area and the state of Missouri. As an investigator with the Humane Society of Missouri, he also taught classes on proper animal care to the general public, classes on animal welfare and the law to law enforcement officials and attorneys, as well as disaster management to first responders, volunteers and the public. Prior to starting a career in the animal welfare field, he was an investigator with the State of Missouri and worked in the corporate security world. Timothy is certified as an animal cruelty investigator by the University of Missouri Law Enforcement Training Institute.
