Palm Valley Animal Society

Faith is the director of operations for Palm Valley Animal Society (PVAS). Prior to joining PVAS, Faith was the shelter management advisor for American Pets Alive (APA) and conducted site visits and responses to crises from other shelters. She began her journey volunteering for APA in 2009 and in 2011 became APA’s operations manager. In 2016, her role shifted to facilities, information, and legal services manager and in 2018 she became Maddie's® animal shelter management advisor. Faith previously helped spread the word of the no-kill mission by moving temporarily to Edinburg, Texas, in 2018 to work as the temporary shelter manager at Palm Valley Animal Center. She helped increase its live release rate to almost 50%, up from 37%. She spent time taking weekly trips to area shelters across the United States conducting shelter assessments. Faith has been working with Palm Valley Animal Society on an ongoing basis since April of 2021 and has committed to her full-time efforts to Palm Valley Animal Society. Since 2009, she and her family have fostered approximately 1,000 animals.
