For over 35 years, Angel Paws has worked tirelessly to provide animals with homes and has saved countless animals from a life of homelessness and neglect.Angel Paws is a local leader in areas of adoption, animal welfare, rescue, and the fight against animal cruelty. We provide animals with medical care, food, shelter, love, and a second chance at life.Organized for the purpose of preventing and relieving suffering to and among animals and to disseminate the humane ethic in Iberia Parish and adjacent areas, Angel Paws has left its mark on not only the animal community but also Iberia Parish as a whole. They have and continue to reduce the over-population of domestic animals in the area served by the society through spay, neuter, and vaccination programs, seek to return lost animals to their owners, and take pride in finding suitable homes for animals without owners.

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
