From Lake Norman Humane

Lake Norman Humane's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome the pets in need within our community and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on being a 501(c)3 no kill animal welfare organizations. We work diligently with multiple animal control facilities along with members of our community to intake animals who would otherwise be at risk of euthanasia. We are proud to offer disaster relief and the ability to respond quickly to areas in need to pull in animals or offer further assistance to municipalities during times of need. Prior to being eligible for adoption, every animal we rescue is behavior tested and evaluated by a veterinarian and medical team and receives any recommended care or training. Our adoption process allows us to understand your wants and needs as potential owners and helps us to recommend pets best suited for your family's lifestyle. We serve as a lifeline to our community for any questions or concerns that may arise following adoption to ensure our adopted pets remain in their forever homes.
