Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of cats by providing proper veterinary care, socialization, and anything necessary to enable cats to find loving purrmanent homes.We are uniquely the only rescue in Culpeper County who takes in and cares for feral or community cats with our Shrinking Violets Program.We rehabilitate/socialize community cats, many of which are merely frightened and need to learn to trust humans again. We are dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond.The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the Humane Society of Sedona is designed to allow every person who desires the love of a pet to be able to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care, while foster pet parents care for the most vulnerable pets outside the Center. No healthy animal or animal with a treatable behavior or medical condition will ever by euthanized. We do not euthanize because of lack of space or as population control. The Humane Society of Sedona relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society's thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets' lives.
