MAPR rescues and places over 400 pugs a year throughout Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, and Tennessee. MAPR does not refuse any pug needing our assistance regardless of behavioral or medical issues. We receive needy and abandoned pugs from owner-surrenderers, shelters and animal control facilities, veterinary offices, puppy mills, other rescues, and from individuals who found a stray pug or pug mix.

Tip Me Frederick is the area's only non-profit Trap-Neuter-Return-Manage (TNRM) cat resource for Frederick, MD and the surrounding region. Our mission is to secure low-cost veterinary services for stray, feral, and farm cats and their caretakers, and to help people live in harmony with these cats in their communities.

The Oswego County Humane Society works to encourage and strengthen the human/animal bond with programs and services that focus on the needs of both people and animals. For over 22 years, OCHS has provided for main programs and services to the Oswego County community including a foster-based adoption program, a spay/neuter clinic for pets in low-income households and for free-roaming cats, humane education, and a pet food and supply pantry.

Tejas Rescued Pet Adoptions is a small all-volunteer rescue organization. Our focus is on high-risk animals - those that will be euthanized or will otherwise die if not provided with veterinarian care. TRPA educates and assists the community with the benefits of spaying and neutering their pets. TRPA also educates and assists the community with Trap/Neuter/Return of feral cats.

Hill Hounds is a non-profit organization established with an objective to provide safe, temporary or permanent homes for cats and dogs when their owners are not able to take care of them and to help animal shelters by taking in the less adoptable animals. Our aim is also to educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering and the role it plays in decreasing the amount of homeless animals euthanized each year.

Living the Dream Rescue provides adoption services in many forms. We work to find forever homes for special needs animals such as; chronic medical, Cerebellar Hypoplaysia, amputees, animals with deformed legs (twisties), FIV+ felines and animals needing behavioral work. All animals are to be fixed and vaccinated prior to adoption. At Living the Dream Rescue, we focus on taking in animals who are most in need around the state and the Southwest. We have partnerships with animal control entities as well as the Arizona Humane Society to bring animals into rescue, many that have no chance of making it out of an open intake facility alive. Every animal we intake has a dedicated foster who has agreed to house that animal until adopted. We utilize off site veterinary clinics for medical treatment and surgical services, and we are partnered with local veterinarians and veterinary industry professionals to keep costs as low as possible while increasing the care provided.

Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue is Arizona's first and only 501(c)(3) IRS-certified charity Doberman rescue. We are a no-kill rescue committed to forever placements. We pull Dobermans from area shelters and accept some owner surrendered dogs. Every DHDR dog is evaluated for temperament and behavior, and given a thorough veterinary examination at intake.
