Helping Animals In Need

Looking Glass Animal Rescue (LGAR) is a nonprofit volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, puppy mills, and more. We welcome all animals in need but specifically focus on those often overlooked due to age, breed, special need, illness or injury that require immediate, often costly medical attention that shelters cannot provide. LGAR sees these animals for what they can become - healthy, happy family members with tons of love to give.

Zeena's SanctuaryPet Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that rescues, rehabilitates, and finds suitable homes for abandoned and unwanted pets throughout Central Florida while striving to connect with and educate the community about the welfare of animals. We also have an outreach program that helps families keep their pets by helping with medical bills.

HAWS is a 501c3 animal welfare organization committed to helping chained and neglected dogs live more comfortably in their environment by providing shelter, straw, trolley systems/fencing, flea/tick prevention and spay/neuter. We educate owners on proper pet care and also provide low cost spay/neuter of pets that belong to low income, elderly and disabled families.Haws does this to lower the abandonment and owner surrenders to overcrowed shelters and rescues and to lower the pet overpopulation.

Category 5 K9 provides resources to assist the canine search and rescue community in its quest to bring lost and missing people home. We provide educational opportunities for handlers, canines, and those who support them. We work to find canines in shelters, rescues, or requiring rehome that have the potential to become search dogs. We give those canines the opportunity to reach their potential and serve the community or make them available for adoption.

Brief Overview of Organization Animals in Need Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving South San Luis Obispo and North Santa Barbara counties. The agency provides subsidized spay, neuter, and life-saving surgeries for: a) companion cats and dogs owned by low-income families who cannot afford such procedures; and b) homeless animals, surrendered to Nipomo DogCat Hospital, who are placed for adoption following recuperation. All funds will be used to care for dogs and cats so that they can be adopted into loving homes rather than euthanized.

Fayette Friends of Animals believes in the humane treatment and improved quality of life for animals. This organization provides a temporary shelter to stray, abandoned or surrendered animals for the purpose of finding them permanent, loving homes. Dallas Animal Services is the only open admission shelter in the City of Dallas. We provide for the care of over 600 animals daily at our shelter, located at 1818 N Westmoreland Rd in Dallas. We have the largest selection of adoptable animals in the City of Dallas and work hard to provide our community with the resources they need to preserve the human animal bond.

Cape Ann Animal Aid is a non-profit, no kill organization dedicated to facilitating appropriate placement of adoptable animals and enhancing the lives of all companion animals by promoting respect and well-being through education and outreach.
