WAGS Fund is a registered 501c3. Our group of volunteers and pet advocates work tirelessly to rescue, vet, foster, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs and cats in the Houston area. We rescue adoptable dogs and cats that are abandoned or likely to be euthanized in area shelters, foster them, raise funds to allow for transitional boarding until fosters are available, fully vet animals, market them, and in some cases, provide behavioral and/or obedience training. We are 100% committed to they are placed in a safe and loving home and beyond.

Misunderstood Mutts Rescue (MMR) is a  registered 501(c)3, volunteer based organization serving the greater Yakima Valley, greater Portland area, and Puget Sound region. We are dedicated to saving abandoned, free, and throwaway dogs in areas where abuse, neglect, and cruelty are prevalent.
 MMR places dogs in temporary foster homes where they are vetted, spayed/neutered (when medically sound), socialized, vaccinated and any medical/behavioral issues are addressed. MMR actively searches for adoption (and foster) homes by posting on various adoption websites, our own website, and social media. We strive to place the right dog with the right family and our process requires not only an application, but a home check, references, a meet & greet, and a representative from MMR performing proper introduction techniques.

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) is a private, non-profit, no-kill animal welfare organization and sanctuary located in North Fort Myers, Florida. In the 29 years since ARC's inception in 1988, ARC has grown to become the largest no-kill sanctuary located in Southwest Florida and services Lee and surrounding counties.  Our mission focus is to reduce the homeless pet population and euthanasia rates in our area through education, outreach, community programs, and collaboration with other animal welfare government and non-government organizations.  ARC does not euthanize for behavior or treatable illnesses/injuries and often takes in animals in need of urgent or prolonged medical care.  All cats and dogs who make their way to ARC are spayed or neutered (if needed), chipped, receive necessary shots and medical attention, receive behavior training, and have a home for life if not adopted.

It also works with owner surrenders to help keep Shibas in their current home or to foster and rehome via its extensive adoption process. DCSIR is committed to prioritizing the intake and placement of Shiba Inus in the immediate DC metropolitan area and may assist in the rescue effort for Shiba Inus and mixed breeds across the east coast as circumstances allow.  DCSIR is a community-oriented rescue which strives to educate pet owners about positive behavior training, healthy nutrition and alternative health care, primitive breed temperament and the importance of spaying/neutering.
