Wings of Rescue is a group of volunteer pilots that transport at risk dogs and cats from high kill, overcrowded shelters to our rescue partners that are no kill who have adopters waiting with open arms. In most cases, the pets we fly are adopted usually within a few days to a week. We primarily fly from Southern California into the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana), Canada and now recently to New Jersey. Relocation works! In just 6 years Wings of Rescue has flown almost 21,000 pets to a second chance and find new forever homes.Go to website
Our mission is to decrease the number of unwanted cats and kittens by providing foster and medical care for cats and kittens while making matches with adoptive families; by assisting the community with low cost spay/neuter options for their personal cats and by assisting local feral cat communities with spay/neuters and feeding. We also provide education for the community and support local owners with assistance for medical care and supplies.Go to website
