The mission of the City of Walker Animal Control is to promote and protect the health, safety and welfare of people and pets. We protect pets from abuse, neglect and homelessness. We provide the best care available for all animals that enter our facility. All animals who leave our shelter have their vaccinations, de-worming and flea-prevention treatments and have been spayed or neutered. We strive to educate the public in responsible pet ownership and find loving responsible homes for our pets.

Our mission is to collaborate with individuals and humane rescue groups in order to save the lives of homeless dogs and cats by promoting and facilitating access to high volume/high quality spay/neuter surgery in a professional clinic environment.

The mission of All God's Creatures Inc. is to educate and to collaborate with our communities on the plight of our domestic animals here in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain. Born and raised in the United States, I have been blessed with an amazing and loving family. My family has always included pets. Recently I have taken it upon myself to be the spokes person for the animals who are unable to speak for themselves. As a Christian for most of my life my heart breaks for the abused, battered, neglected and homeless animals here in the United States and other countries. It's up to us to change the world. That change begins with knowledge then action.

Prairie Paw Animal Shelter's mission is providing compassionate care and placement for animals in need. In 2014 we were able to place 669 homeless pets into loving adoptive families.Our dedicated trained staff work one on one to make sure the temperament and requirements of the pet fit the expectations and lifestyle of the new adopters.

Paw Promise Animal Rescue's mission is to help decrease the pet over population by assisting in the rescue and adoption of dogs and cats in Arizona and by promoting the spaying and neutering of all pets. We're currently able to save 75-100 lives per year, and hope to increase that number with more committed foster homes.

We shelter thousands of companion animals who are homeless, lost, ill and in need of an advocate. We affect the number of unwanted animals by spaying and neutering all animals we adopt out to new homes and by offering a low-cost spay/neuter program,

To help end the unnecessary euthanasia of healthy animals simply because they are homeless.

The Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area strives to promote the humane treatment of animals and to foster respect, understanding, and compassion for all creatures.

The Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation (WARF) is a small group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing companion animals and placing them in loving homes. We rescue the animals that no one else wants, usually directly from the euthanasia holding rooms of local shelters or in response to calls from the public about stray animals in imminent danger. We provide necessary veterinary treatment and a place for them to recover before placing our animals in carefully screened homes. We also provide financial support to individuals with pets in need of spay/neuter services, veterinary care, education, emergency boarding, training and support, and we assist pet owners with rehoming animals in need of new forever families. We commit to a lifetime of care for the animals that we rescue, and no animal is rejected or refused based on breed, age, size, or temperament.

We are rescuers for homeless dogs and cats, primarily in southern California, who are at risk for euthanasia. Our goal is to save medically treatable, misdiagnosed, and manageable animals by providing a system of fostering, treatment, training, and adoption. By being a rescue partner to shelters, we help eliminate the need for a shelter to euthanize an animal due to overcrowding, or for failure to thrive in the shelter environment.

The Yakima Humane Society is dedicated to serving and protecting the animals of Yakima County. Our mission is to end animal suffering and cruelty, reduce animal overpopulation, and educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership. We practice and promote the humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, education, information, referral and quality animal care.

The mission of Alamogordo Animal Control Center is to provide the citizens of Alamogordo with highest quality service to pet population through advocating for and care of animals: * found at large in the community; *neglected and abandoned animals in the community; and *animals who are owner relinquished or surrendered. AACC serves the pets and citizens of Alamogordo by housing and making animals available to public for adoption, returned to owner, and/or released to rescue organizations. AACC is committed to public education in awareness of animal laws and ordinances, and pet owner's responsibilities to their pets and proper practice of good animal care that will ensure the animals' health and well-being.

Pittie Posse Rescue and Sanctuary has three missions: Rescue of animals: from overcrowded shelters in high-kill cities across the country (pulling from locations that are overwhelmed, such as, but not limited to, the South) as well as from owner surrenders, cruelty cases, and criminal seizures of dogs. Rehabilitation and training of rescued dogs in our care so we're adopting out dogs that have already completed basic obedience. Lack of manners and difficulty training this often-stubborn breed is one of the number one reasons adopted dogs get returned. We then carefully place dogs in loving adoptive homes. Our rescue is unique in that we stay in touch with adoptive families' we invite them into a private group where they can keep us updated on the dog, ask for training support, get vet questions answered, and share success pictures of their new pup. To make the world a better place for the bully breeds and the rescue workers who run themselves ragged to save them: educate the public on the plight of the breed and model responsible dog ownership: including offering on-site training to the public, video training, spay and neuter support, and advocacy.

To raise funds for animal spay/neuter surgeries, food for needy animals, wellness vaccinations and other educational events that will help Concho Residents keep beloved pets healthy and in their rightful homes.

The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection is a recognized nonprofit, 501c3 organization that provides compassionate solutions to pet overpopulation and community animal welfare. TCAP accomplishes this goal by making affordable, high quality preventative services available to Texas pet owners.

Our vision is to provide a better life for adoptable companion animals without homes and to assist in the effort to limit the overpopulation of these animals.

HSV AWL is a totally volunteer rescue organization with no personnel costs. Funds cover veterinary care, food, and business costs. We are granted use of limited space in a shelter facility and augment this space with an active foster program. AWL partners with other rescue groups and works with national groups to market our pets and to secure grants for specific goals, such as spay/neuter efforts in the outlying rural community.

PAWS, located in Norwalk, CT is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitationplacement of homeless dogscats. We pride ourselves on helping not only highly adoptable pets but also at risk animals such as senior pets, pets with handicaps or chronic medical conditions,maligned breeds. Founded in 1962, PAWS has helped more than 15,000 pets through adoption, medical careother forms of support.
