FBCAS is working towards a uniting of humane organizations, rescue groups, other shelters, and veterinarians to one day end the practice of euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals.  This will require not only a unified effort, but active support and funding for a variety of programs directed at reducing pet overpopulation including low-cost spay/neuter, adoptions, foster programs and widespread humane education as well as reducing the number of animals entering the shelter.

Lampasas Community Cats-TNR (LCC-TNR) is dedicated to improving the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured Cats in Lampasas Texas and its surrounding areas.  We do not take in owner released animals, but instead focus our efforts into helping un-owned, stray and feral cats and kittens through Trap-Neuter-Return(TNR).  We also support community and feral cats through other community outreach effors.  LCC-TNR will respect and show compassion to all animals.  We will work to improve the lives of abused, abandoned, feral, stray, and injured cats.  We will promote spay and neuter programs, promote Trap, Neuter, and Return as the most humane method of effecting postive change in feral cat populations, provide educational and informational assistance to the public.  Re-home (if possible) and provide medical care as needed to community cats and possible.
