Texas to rescue and rehabilitate unwanted, homeless and helpless dogs and pups helping each to find a carefully matched permanent and loving home through adoption.  We accept all breeds to reduce the large numbers going to high kill area shelters.  It is our mission to educate the community on humane care, spay & neuter and promote an overall appreciation of companion animals to ultimately save more lives.

The Forgotten Pet Advocates
Alvin, Texas 77511

The Forgotten Pet Advocates (FPA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal advocacy organization, proudly serving Houston and surrounding areas.  We fund critical veterinary care including sterilization for animals that have been abandoned at boarding facilities and stray animals found in the streets in Houston. Then we network through social media to increase the animal’s visibility, and with off- site adoptions. Our efforts result in decreased intake at local shelters, the kennel owner, allows us to help versus turning them into animal control, which helps lower euthanasia rates and more finding permanent homes!   We are also striving to make Houston a NO – KILL community.
