ASPCI is a non-profit 501(c) (3) animal welfare organization that has no geographical borders when it comes to saving the lives of dogs and cats in certain situations. They receive no government funding and are dependent on donations of caring people, grants from foundations, fundraising events and adoption fees for funding.ASPCI currently manages five (5) animal welfare programs.These programs are only doable by working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians and other supporters in the community.The programs are foster care for dogs, pet adoption events, animal rescue, a managed admission program and SNAP.

Lexington Humane Society (LHS) mission statement: "To advocate the compassionate treatment of animals; educate the community on responsible, lifelong pet ownership; and promote adoption as the best option when searching for a new pet." Among other things, LHS is the largest pet adoption agency in Central Kentucky, we care for over 4,000 homeless animals every year, we are an educational resource promoting a more humane community.

Our mission is to provide help to companion animals by rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and spay/neuter, while creating a more compassionate and caring community for animals through education.

Paws 4 A Cause will be compassionate toward all animals in need, to rescue, vet and train as many animals as we can responsibly handle, so that we can ensure these animals are healthy and placed in loving, healthy homes, creating lifelong relationships.

The Humane Society of Yates County exists to promote the welfare of companion and domestic animals through educational programs and initiatives that reduce pet overpopulation, enrich adoptions and encourage responsible pet ownership.

We rescue, rehabilitate and place unwanted, neglected and abused Pugs in permanent adoptive homes. The Pugs and former owners we work with are from throughout Oregon, Idaho and Washington, we rescue pugs regardless of age or medical condition.Prior to adoption, our Pugs are cared for by our dedicated foster families located in the Portland Metro area. While there and before adoption can occur, our Pugs receive medical care including spaying/neutering, dental surgery, vaccinations, and microchips and any other medical care needed.In addition to saving Pugs, we strive to educate the public about the breed, including its personality, health issues and care, and about the importance of domestic animal population control.
