Wags N Whiskers was organized exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, or to carry out the purposes of halting cruelty to animals by reducing the unnecessary euthanizing of adoptable pets in Grant County. The corporation was granted 501(c)(3) status January 7, 2005. Wags N Whiskers has been actively assisting with animal rescue and welfare in Grant County since 2005.  Currently, our primary focus is providing spay and neuter assistance to low income residents unable to afford the cost and provide information to the community of the growing concern about homeless animal overpopulation and its effects on our community."
