Volunteer drivers needed to transport pets in shelters
Ready for a lifesaving ride? We're looking for volunteer drivers to help homeless cats and dogs get from high-volume intake areas to shelters and rescue groups in regions of the country where they have a much greater chance of finding homes. It's just one of the ways that we can work together to Save Them All.
So if you're 21 or older with a valid driver's license, please select the city nearest you to get connected to a local pet transport program.
- Atlanta, Georgia: volunteerATL@bestfriends.org
- Houston, Texas: houstonvolunteer@bestfriends.org
- Kanab, Utah: localvolunteers@bestfriends.org
- Northwest Arkansas: volunteernwa@bestfriends.org
If you're not in or near one of these cities, you can still make a lifesaving difference behind the wheel. Please sign up with Doobert, a Best Friends partner company that specializes in connecting volunteer drivers with rescue groups and shelters around the U.S. Think of it as Uber or Lyft for animal rescue!
We're thrilled - and so are the animals - to have you along on this journey. Thank you for all that you do for the animals.
