Since the first No More Homeless Pets National Conference in 2001, more and more people and organizations are working together to end the needless killing of dogs and cats in America's shelters.
We believe that no-kill is achievable. We believe that collaboration between municipal shelters, humane societies and rescue groups is key. We believe that sharing our best ideas will get us to no-kill. We believe everyone who is willing has a vital role to play.
Every year, the No More Homeless Pets Conference brings together leaders of the no-kill movement, experts in animal care and behavior, marketing and fundraising, animal welfare professionals, rescue groups and volunteers - all dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets.
In 2013, Best Friends is bringing the No More Homeless Pets National Conference to a new city, where you will make new connections and learn new ways to save animals in your community.
The conference will be held at Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. A special rate of $109 per night is available to attendees who make reservations by September 20, 2013, or before rooms are sold out.
