2015 Fiscal Year

Best Friends is leading a concerted effort to end the killing of dogs and cats in our nation’s shelters — an effort that would not be possible without your commitment and partnership.

Saving the lives of millions of pets and getting to no-kill is a synergistic undertaking. Only by creating a groundswell of public support — from our Sanctuary visitors to our national volunteers, from our partner organizations to our adopters and members — can we accomplish this ambitious goal. The animals we help, the lives we save, and the community members and leaders we influence each year are the measure of our work together. And the countless compassionate people like you who have joined this movement are what make it all possible.

Thanks to your support over the last year, more animals than ever were helped through Best Friends programs. Together, and only together, can we and will we Save Them All.

“This is an exciting time for Best Friends and the no-kill movement.
Our work together is gathering momentum and touching the lives of more animals and people than we ever thought possible…”
Francis Battista, Co-founder, Best Friends Animal Society
