Male Hound named Rockford available for adoption

Rockford is a true survivor. Hit by a car and badly injured, he fought for his life and held on until someone found him and got him to a rescue group. He then came to Best Friends to get the critical medical care he needed. Rockford had surgery to repair the damage done to his legs and hips and has made a great recovery. He greets every morning with a happy dance, and does not let his past hold him back. Rockford is a super happy dog. He loves his human friends so much that he gets really wiggly when they walk into his room. Going for walks or to the dog park with Dogtown volunteers and caregivers are the highlights of his day. Rockford is on limited activity while he completes his recovery, but he will soon be free of restrictions and able to romp and play as he pleases. Intelligent and sweet, Rockford has done well with other dogs at the Sanctuary and is learning some cool training tricks such as " touch? and hand targeting. He was born in 2014 and is ready to rediscover life in a home of his own. Rockford has a generous sponsor who will cover his adoption fee.
