We are county taxpayer funded and enforce the IL State Animal Control Act and Coles County's Animal Control Ordinances. Our facility houses animals waiting for owners to claim and waiting adoption.

Rochester Hope for Pets' mission is threefold: improving the quality of life for Rochester area companion animals by providing grants for veterinary care to pets whose owners are in times of need; assisting veterinary health teams with continuing education, research, and new technology for the advancement of companion animal care; and providing support to animal-related nonprofit organizations whose missions support homeless animals in need.

The Country Cattery's mission is to pull cats and kittens from high kill shelters as well as abandoned and neglectful situations. We provide them with love, veterinarian care and spay/neuter. We place them with loving homes through our adoption program.

Animal Rescue Friends, Ltd (ARF) was formed for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, to reduce the amount of animals euthanized at county shelters by rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing animals that would otherwise potentially be put to sleep due to over-crowding and the limited resources at the shelters.

The Humane Society of Wickenburg strives to provide exceptional care for dogs and cats that are surrendered, abandoned or abused. Through formal and comprehensive adoption policies, educational humane programs and events designed to increase awareness, compassion and responsible pet ownership, the Humane Society's mission is to place every adoptable animal in a permanent, well-educated home.

We are a no-kill organization that heavily emphasizes spay and neuter for animals in Indian River County. Our goal is to reduce impounds in our local Humane Society, which will reduce euthanasia as well as eliminate public health risks. IRAA provides education and outreach for the community, we are also a safe shelter for homeless animals. We provide low cost medical services for needy animals. Our current focus is trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return for cats. In the past 3 years we have spayed and neutered over 1600 community cats at no charge for the community. The program includes: spay/neuter, rabies vaccine, deworming, flea prevention, and an ear tip for visual identification of a neutered animal.

The mission of Southern Nevada Beagle Rescue Foundation is to rescue, foster, rehabilitate and place as many distressed beagles (houndslittles) as possible. Traditionally known as beloved family pets, they not only fill homes with love but have and can be used to help those who live alone find companionship.

We maintain an adoption program for abandoned pets. We also raise money to provide financial support to low-income people for spaying and neutering and other medical needs of their pets. We provide educational and promotional info to the public about animal care and promote the welfare of all animals, but especially domestic animals and pets.
