It all begins when you arrive at the Welcome Center.
Driving through the lower canyon, the signs pointing the way, you'll immediately feel the peace and tranquility of a place where so many animals have been loved and healed from their hard journeys in life.
The Welcome Center is a comforting place in itself, complete with a lucky fish pond and frequently visited by hummingbirds.
Any day of the week, you can take a guided tour of the Sanctuary. There are a minimum of four tours per day. Tours are free, and start from the Welcome Center.
Be sure to call ahead to find out the times and reserve your space. Call (435) 644-2001 ext. 4537. Full tours take approximately an hour and a half and wind through the magnificent red rock landscape of Angel Canyon, with stops at Dogtown and Cat World. Shorter tours are also available, staff permitting.
We also offer daily tours at the Bunny House, Parrot Garden and Wild Friends, staff and weather permitting. Reservations are not necessary, but call (435) 644-2001 ext. 4537 for availability.
