Community Pet Services and Pantry

Helping community members find the resources they need to avoid surrendering their pets to shelters is critical to making Arkansas a no-kill state. That’s why we offer a needs-based pet food pantry at our pet resource center.

The Best Friends pet food pantry provides dog and cat food to residents and community cat caregivers. The pet food pantry not only fills bellies, but it also helps to save lives by providing families what they need to keep their pets at home and out of shelters.

We rely on donations to keep our pantry stocked, which means our food levels vary. We attempt to accommodate requests as supplies are available.

How you can help

The pet food pantry relies completely on donations, so you can help keep the pantry stocked by donating cat and dog food.

To make a food donation, please order from our Amazon Wish List or Walmart Registry for Good and have your donation shipped directly to the pantry.

You can also drop off your donation directly at the center. We accept all brands of wet and dry pet food. Opened bags are accepted if they are sealed up thoroughly.

Please drop off pet food donations at The Best Friends Pet Resource Center, 1312 Melissa Drive in Bentonville.
