Take a free guided tour through Angel Canyon
Ready to experience the magic of Angel Canyon? Let us be your guide. Enjoy a guided tour led by one of our knowledgeable Sanctuary Ambassadors. We have no doubt that you'll fall in love with the canyon and the over 1,600 animals that call this place home.
Grand Sanctuary tours
These two-hour tours begin at the Best Friends Welcome Center every day of the week. You’ll watch a brief video and then board our van for a 90 minute ride to interact with a few cats. A dog will be brought out to visit in Dogtown. You will see other Sanctuary sites from the tour van. Please register in advance online or by phone, as the word is out about Best Friends and our wonderful work.
If you are looking for an extended furry fix, you will certainly want to volunteer for that hands on experience with the animals.
*Seven days a week:*
*8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m.*
If you have children under the age of eight, boosters or car seats are required and certain vans are needed to accommodate. Please call to schedule.
If you are traveling with your own pets, you will be offered an opportunity to follow the tour van with a descriptive CD to listen to, as no animals are allowed on the vans. No pets are allowed to stay in any vehicle other than an RV unattended in the parking lot. Sorry, no doggy daycare is provided. Please call to schedule.
If you have a party of 10 or more people, please call our Welcome Center to schedule: 435-644-2001, ext. 4537.
