This is no shelter. This is no roadside diversion. This is Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a lifesaving haven for hundreds of adoptable animals, nestled in between the sprawling red rocks of Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Lengthen your leash and experience for yourself the nature and nurture of the largest sanctuary of its kind in America.

Plan Your Trip
Seven days a week, you can have a guided tour of the sanctuary, which picks you up at the Welcome Center. Tours are free, and there are four per day.
Whether you volunteer for a day, a week or longer, the animals at the Sanctuary truly appreciate the time you spend with them.
